El Paso County residents to get more help through rental assistance

El Paso County residents who are facing evictions because of financial hardships brought on by the pandemic could be getting more help.

The City of El Paso and El Paso County have allocated $ 13.08 million in federal funding to the El Paso Rent Help program, it will be administered by the Paso del Norte Community Foundation.

RECOMMENDED: Rent assistance program will be available in April

The next phase will allow tenants to initiate the application process on their own through the EP Rent Help program.

Landlords can begin signing up on Monday. Tenants can sign up on Thursday.
