Supporting nonprofit organization needs during COVID-19
The Paso del Norte Community Foundation invites qualified 501(c)(3) public charities to submit proposals to address charitable needs associated with the COVID-19 pandemic in the El Paso region.
Funding is made available through generous donations by individuals, corporations and foundations. Grants awarded range from $3,000 to $15,000. The following organizations have received funding:
- El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank - $25,000
- Project BRAVO - $5,000
- United Way of El Paso County – Senior Fund - $3,000
- Desert Spoon Food Hub - $9,130
- Alzheimer's Association - $3,850
- Casa De Peregrinos - $11,000
- The Opportunity Center for the Homeless - $10,000
- Sacred Heart Church - $5,170
- The Salvation Army of El Paso - $5,000
- Mustard Seed - $8,100
- Alliance of Border Collaborative - $15,000
- NAMI El Paso - $5,703.50
- Center Against Sexual and Family Violence - $9,856.61
- YWCA - $15,000
- YMCA Armed Services - $4,708
