El Paso Giving Day (EPGD) was created to support a thriving community of nonprofit organizations essential to the health, education, social services, environment, arts and quality of life in our region. 

El Paso Giving Day is an online charitable giving campaign designed to shine a light on the essential services of nonprofit organizations and ignite the spirit of giving in our community. This year's Giving Day was held on October 15, 2020.

In 2020, more than 5,700 unique donors gave 7,619 gifts to 216 registered organizations. $1,915,572 was raised by October 15, 2020 at 11:59 PM, including $300,000 in matching funds and more than $31,000 in incentive prizes.

Sponsors and supporters of our 5th anniversary of El Paso Giving Day: Walmart, El Paso Electric, Diageo Americas, Inc./Glazer’s Beer and Beverage, United Healthcare, Lauterbach, Borschow & Co., Microsoft, Marathon Petroleum Corporation, Southwest Land Development Services, Bank of America, The Woody and Gayle Hunt Family Foundation, Hoy Family Auto, WestStar, the NMSU Arrowhead Center, Texas Gas Service, Pack & Ship Express, Trade Border Logistics, KempSmith Law and The Postal Solution. With the generous support from these sponsors, the Paso del Norte Community Foundation was able to provide more than $31,000 in incentive prizes.

This year, Walmart is matching donations during El Paso Giving Day up to $10,000 per organization for a total match of $300,000. Donations made beyond these limits may not be matched.

The Paso del Norte Community Foundation does not make any money on the project and does not charge a fee for participation. The Foundation provides coordinating, accounting and administrative support on an in-kind basis.
