Alexa Orozco

Development Intern

Alexa Orozco serves as a Development Intern at the Paso del Norte Community Foundation.

In her role, Alexa supports the Foundation’s development efforts and works alongside a team dedicated to advancing philanthropy and improving the quality of life throughout the Paso del Norte region. She contributes to initiatives that strengthen community engagement, donor relations, and nonprofit impact while gaining experience in communications, marketing, and community development.

Alexa is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in communications with a minor in Marketing at the University of Texas at El Paso. A first-generation college student, she graduated from Ysleta High School in 2024 while simultaneously earning an Associate of Arts in Multidisciplinary Studies from El Paso Community College through a dual-credit program.

Born and raised in El Paso, Texas, Alexa is passionate about communication, community engagement, and building meaningful relationships. Her interests in communications, marketing, fashion, and creative expression have shaped her career aspirations in public relations. She hopes to become a Public Relations Executive Consultant or fashion publicist within the fashion and events industries.

Outside of her academic and professional pursuits, Alexa enjoys listening to music, singing, exploring new restaurants, spending time in nature, and being with family. She values meeting new people, learning from different perspectives, and hopes to travel the world after graduation.
