Our second workshop in this year's workshop series will take place on Friday, August 6th at 11 AM MST. Communications expert, Martin Bartlett, will be discussing how to prepare a communications guideline and timeline, with a special emphasis on your organization's El Paso Giving Day campaign.

Martin Bartlett draws upon a lifetime of loving maps, roads and bridges to oversee Barracuda’s growing portfolio of transportation infrastructure projects. He has built and helped execute meaningful, bilingual, cross-platform public involvement plans for projects including I-10 Connect, the El Paso Streetcar Project, the Horizon Boulevard (FM 1281) Corridor Study and the Reeves County Truck Reliever Route. His work extends beyond Barracuda’s transportation clients to non-profits and businesses as well.

Upon graduating from the University of Mississippi, Martin enjoyed a successful career in broadcast journalism covering state and local governments for television stations across Texas – including here in El Paso. In 2012, he earned accredited membership in the Congress for the New Urbanism. He is currently pursuing a Certificate in Transportation Operations and Planning from the University of Florida’s Department of Civil and Coastal Engineering.
