Downs in Motion is seeking your support to maintain classes found in their continuing education program, Bridging the Gap.

Downs in Motion has created a seamless transition for students who are leaving high school Special Education Services. Bridging the Gap is designed to mitigate the stalling of critical services for underserved students with Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in the El Paso County and Southern New Mexico areas. Students participate in college-like classes that continue to promote cognitive growth. At times finding local services for a teen or young adult with IDD impossible can be challenging or impossible.  These gaps in service directly impact these youth and their opportunities to be a part of our community.

Sponsorship opportunities to support this unique and needed initiative are currently available to donors.
