A Fund of

Leticia "Letty" Hidalgo Rodriguez, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on August 17, 2023, at the age of 72 reuniting with her love Carmelo Rodriguez+. She was born on August 8, 1951, in Canutillo, Texas, to loving parents Gabino & Maria Hidalgo+. Reminisced thru her siblings Manuel Hidalgo, Patricio Hidalgo+, Norma Cruz, Sylvia Morgan, Eduardo Hidalgo.


Letty's legacy lives on through her family and the countless lives she touched during her lifetime. She is survived by her daughters Lissette Marie Galdean, Angela Bryan, and her sons Ediberto Jose Rodriguez and Armando Isaac Rodriguez.

Her nurturing spirit and unconditional love extended to her cherished grandchildren: Patricio D. Hidalgo, Ashley N. Torres, Alannah P. Hidalgo, Emmanuel A. Galdean, Danielaa Y. Galdean, Jordan S. Rodriguez, Joesiah N. Rodriguez and Aria M. Rodriguez.


In lieu of flowers, the family has requested to donate funds to the “Leticia Hidalgo Rodriguez Scholarship.”  The family desires to provide a scholarship in memory of their loved one.  Letty actively supported the Canutillo Independent School District and supported her children's and grandchildren's sports and school activities.  This scholarship will be provided to an outstanding student that simplifies the great Canutillo spirit.  Letty's dedication to her family and her ability to make everyone feel valued will always be remembered.  As we bid farewell to Letty, we remember her as a woman of strength, kindness, and grace. Her memory will forever be etched in our hearts, and her legacy will continue to inspire us all.


Rest in peace, dear Letty. Your spirit will live on through the love you shared and the memories you created.
