By pooling contributions and making collective decisions about which causes to support, giving circle members multiply their impact and help create lasting, meaningful change right here in our community.

Giving Circles are as unique as the people who form them—friends, families, colleagues, or neighbors. What they share is a commitment to learning, listening, and collaborating around philanthropy. Together, giving circle members build strong connections, gain a deeper understanding of local needs, and support the nonprofits that strengthen the fabric of our region.

The Paso del Norte Community Foundation supports Giving Circles every step of the way by providing:

  • 501(c)(3) Infrastructure – Donations are tax-deductible and fully compliant.
  • Administrative Support – We manage the details so circles can focus on impact.
  • Grantmaking– Support with the solicitation, review and evaluation of proposals and/or identifying potential grantees and managing basic grant reporting.
  • Comms & Events – Provide communications/PR support and amplification, host and support Giving Circle/donation page on PdNCF website, support the planning and execution of events, and provide meeting space, if needed.
  • Strategic Support – Assist Giving Circles with determining their vision, goals, and planning for sustainability and develop strategic partnerships with other giving circles/orgs.
