The Loaves & Fishes Fund was established in 2015 by an anonymous donor to support agencies that provide dignity and hope to the most vulnerable in our community, not only by helping in emergency situations but by finding long-term solutions to poverty and homelessness.
Tangible personal property. Examples may be real estate, oil, gas, or mineral interests.
Bequests, appreciated securities, life insurance, retirement plans, and charitable remainder trusts, and more.
The founders of the Loaves and Fishes Fund were inspired by someone who once said, “I have faith that God can work miracles even with my few loaves and just a couple of fish” and that we seek to be like the young lad who simply gave the Lord what he had - small though it seemed to be - and let God do with it what He will.
The Loaves and Fishes Fund makes an impact in the lives of those struggling each day to survive. The Fund makes grants to agencies that provide dignity and hope to the most vulnerable in our community, not only through helping in emergency situations but through agencies that work to find long-term solutions to poverty and homelessness through education, job training and access to healthcare. Ultimately, the Funds seeks to inspire others so that together our response is not, “What are we among so many?” but “Come, and eat.”
