Adam Bowles, pastor of Castle Church in Norwich, Conn., was struck by the sobering reality that the shooter decided to drive 10 hours out of hatred. The thought since then has been: “Love goes farther.” With that in mind, he and Matt Martinez, a church member and family friend, decided to venture from home to the memorial site, a journey that without stops takes one day and 10 hours. In their case, they plan to stop in Columbus, Ohio, visit the memorial site in Dayton, Ohio, stop in St. Louis, and stop in Dallas before arriving in El Paso. We will post updates along the way. They would love if people across the country would unite to support their journey and give to the foundation — all of the proceeds goes to support the families and community of the victims. Every mile and every donation is our way of condemning hatred.
