In honor of Maria Elena Cisneros, this grant recognizes compassionate, everyday heroes who care for their loved ones. Families can nominate a caregiver who goes above and beyond to provide love, dignity, and support. This grant offers financial assistance and heartfelt appreciation to those doing the work that often goes unseen but never unnoticed.

During her final years, our family faced the heartbreaking challenge of finding a caregiver who could not only tend to her physical needs but also treat her with the compassion and dignity she deserved. That experience opened our eyes to how essential—and often underappreciated—caregivers truly are.

Through this fund, we hope to recognize and support unsung heroes in our community. Families will be invited to nominate someone currently caring for a loved one—someone who consistently goes above and beyond in their role as a caregiver. The selected individual(s) will receive a financial grant as a small token of appreciation for their dedication and humanity.

Caregivers are needed now more than ever, and this fund allows us to honor their impact while preserving my grandmother’s legacy of love and strength.
