The Paso del Norte Community Foundation and Laura Carrillo Designs hosted a spring luncheon on April 7th, bringing together a group of like-minded women to enjoy lunch, beautiful flowers, and the opportunity to learn more about the benefits of charitable giving. Guests learned not only how their charitable gifts can leave a lasting impact on our region, but also how PdNCF can assist individuals with their philanthropic goals.  

“We are so grateful that a great group of community-minded women invested their valuable time with us to learn about how, for a very low fee, the Foundation can take the work out of charitable giving so they can focus on philanthropy and supporting the areas about which they’re most passionate,” said Mica Short, Vice President of Development. “Working with Laura Carrillo Designs to combine lunch and a workshop on how to build a beautiful bouquet was a perfect way to tie in our message about growing a community of philanthropy.  They were incredibly supportive of this effort and were very generous with their time and expertise, resulting in a wonderful afternoon shared by all.” 

This event would not have been a success without the support of Laura Carillo’s Designs. Laura Carrillo and her daughter, Laura Corral, take extraordinary pride in the art of creating floral arrangements and have a deep love for the community of El Paso.
