Downs in Motion was founded by Edith and Gabriel Lujan.  They are the parents of four children, and their son Angel has downs syndrome.  Edith and Lujan are part of a group of several families that are working together to provide programming, social activities, and support for a community of people downs syndrome and other intellectual disabilities.  Some of their programming includes karate classes and basketball leagues.  The Lujans’ effort forming Downs in Motion was fully supported by their church, Abundant Living Faith Center, and Lujans believe that they are fulfilling God’s call to them to serve the community through Downs in Motion.  To donate to this fund, click on this link.
