The Paso del Norte Community Foundation (PdNCF) is excited to announce the launch of the fifth annual El Paso Giving Day - a 24-hour, online charitable giving campaign designed to ignite the spirit of giving and support causes in the community where we live, work and play. El Paso Giving Day is an amazing opportunity for organizations to utilize the opportunity to virtually fundraise, which is even more critical during this COVID pandemic. PdNCF not only provides the opportunity for non-profits to raise money on a day specifically aimed at fundraising to support El Paso’s important nonprofits, but also offers incentives to nonprofits for executing successful fundraising campaigns by providing some healthy and exciting competition!
This year’s El Paso Giving Day will be held on October 15th, 2020. Casie Pedregon, PdNCF’s Development Coordinator exclaims, “This year our local nonprofit organizations are hurting tremendously as their regular events and fundraisers have been postponed or cancelled outright. El Paso Giving Day is a great resource for them to kick off their virtual fundraising campaigns and share their messaging about the impactful work they do!” Registration to participate in El Paso Giving Day opened for nonprofit organizations on July 20th with a virtual Registration Kickoff and will close on September 15th. The Paso del Norte Community Foundation provides coordinating, accounting and administrative support for the El Paso Giving Day initiative on an in-kind basis and does not make any money on the project, nor charges a fee for participation.
