Inaugural Binational Philanthropy Award presented to Hunt Family Foundation
Fundación Paso del Norte para la Salud y Bienestar presented the inaugural Binational Philanthropy Award to Woody L. Hunt and the Hunt Family Foundation in recognition of their support of Cd. Juárez’s social and community development.
The award presentation took place at the Bridge of Wellness – Building Binational Philanthropy luncheon on October 30th at the CIBELES Convention Center in Cd. Juárez. Peggy Dulany, founder of the Synergos Institute and daughter of David Rockefeller, was the keynote speaker. The Rockefeller’s have carried on an extraordinary tradition of philanthropy and their family’s altruism serves as an example that has inspired many throughout the world.
“The award to Woody and the Hunt Family Foundation along with the presentation from Ms. Dulany, captured the essence of giving and what impact that it can make on people and communities in the region and all over the world,” said Tracy J. Yellen, CEO of the Paso del Norte Community Foundation.
The Paso del Norte Community Foundation partners with Fundación Paso del Norte para la Salud y Bienestar to inspire and grow philanthropic giving on both sides of the U.S-Mexico border to advance partnerships and initiatives to improve health and well-being in Cd. Juárez.
