As students across the region return to the classroom – whether that be online or in-person – the Paso del Norte Community Foundation (PdNCF) is advancing its efforts in the facilitation and promotion of its diverse scholarship opportunities.

This year, PdNCF is introducing and implementing a new scholarship software that will help to administer, host, and manage the vast opportunities offered through one easy-to-use online platform.

Carefully designed scholarship applications will be available on the Kaleidoscope platform for students to apply directly. Students can create their personal profile and review their eligibility and the scholarship requirements before beginning the application. Kaleidoscope will then take the students step-by-step where they will enter and upload all pertinent information before reviewing and submitting. Once completed, Kaleidoscope will also search other scholarships on the platform, presenting students with more scholarship opportunities the applicant is eligible for. This unique tool will broaden the impact and support students that can receive beyond PdNCF.

Students will continue to be selected through an online review process with awards disbursed by the Paso del Norte Community Foundation. The application process provides an intuitive, seamless, and paperless processes for students and PdNCF.  

Scholarship applications that will be featured include:

• Ben Narbuth Kiwanis Club of Horizon City Endowed Scholarship
• Carl L. & Sandra Wright Scholarship for Women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math
• The FirstLight Community Foundation Scholarship
• The Nathan W. Jones Memorial Scholarship Fund
• The Richard Castro Community Service Scholarship Fund
