PdNCF announces HCA Healthcare/Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare as a Partner in Philanthropy

The Paso del Norte Community Foundation is proud to announce HCA Healthcare/Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare as one of our Partners in Philanthropy.

One of the PdNCF’s four priority areas, Nonprofit Investment includes supporting the growth of nonprofit/designated funds, including endowment funds for nonprofit sustainability, as well as providing training for nonprofit organizations for capacity building and growth.  The nonprofit sector is an economic driver of our community and as nonprofits focus on delivering their missions across myriad charitable purposes, they don’t often have additional resources to support professional development programs or paid internships.

We are truly grateful to our Partners in Philanthropy, like HCA Healthcare/Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare, who have made a financial contribution in support of our Nonprofit Investment priority area and who are helping our local nonprofits continue to be economic engines in our community through professional development, partnership, and collaboration.

Above all else, HCA Healthcare/Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare is committed to the care and improvement of human life. Partnering with nonprofit organizations became a cornerstone of Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare's philanthropic endeavors. Recognizing the invaluable role these organizations played in addressing pressing social issues, they are committed to giving back.

From supporting the Paso del Norte Community Foundation's El Paso Giving Days to actively participating in fundraising initiatives, they embrace every opportunity to make a difference. Moreover, they regularly encourage and provide employees with the opportunity to give back to the communities they serve through our Caring for the Community program.

Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare is proud to partner with Paso del Norte Community Foundation whose mission is close to ours,” says Bertha Gallardo, Corporate Affairs & Community Engagement, “We are looking forward to amplifying the Foundation’s work of supporting the Borderland’s nonprofit organizations and charitable causes while establishing a legacy of giving for the future.”

HCA Healthcare—including its El Paso-affiliate Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare—has a robust volunteer, community engagement and community outreach program. Along with traditional funding, they look forward to encouraging our employees to volunteer their time to support Paso del Norte Community Foundation’s nonprofit organizations.

“We are committed to making a difference in the El Paso community by helping our neighbors, and we’re pleased to do that alongside PdNCF,” adds Bertha.
