The Paso del Norte Community Foundation is pleased to announce that it has received re-accreditation from the Council on Foundations - National Standards for U.S. Community Foundations Accreditation Program for a 3-year period.

The National Standards Program accredits community foundations that yearly meet 26 comprehensive standards and demonstrate best practices and operational excellence in the following categories:  Mission, Structure and Governance; Resource Development; Stewardship and Accountability; Grantmaking; and Donor Relations.

The Paso del Norte Community Foundation joins 92% of the nation’s community foundations that participate in the National Standards Program. Accredited community foundations receive a seal of accreditation that symbolizes and assures donors and professional advisers that the community foundation is a valued place to give and make a difference.
