PdNCF Welcomes a New Face our Community of Philanthropy

We are pleased to welcome Monica Narvaez as the Paso del Norte Community Foundation’s new Development Assistant. Monica is responsible for a range of development activities including assisting with Foundation relations and events and providing administrative support to further the Foundation’s mission. She serves as the main point of contact for our designated funds and manages our donor database system.

A native of El Paso, Monica received her Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health with a concentration in Health Policy and Management from The University of Texas at Austin. Before graduating, Monica worked for the Austin Public Health Department during the COVID-19 response where she gained valuable experience and knowledge about the frontline responses during times of crisis.  She has worked closely with a local financial advisory firm and understands the opportunity individuals have to become philanthropic in the community.

Monica has supported our nonprofit community through different volunteer roles and is proud to be part of the Foundation’s mission to grow and support our community of philanthropy. In her spare time, Monica loves to spend time with her family, friends, and her two dogs.
