Cristian Chavez graduated from the University of El Paso, Texas, with a degree in Accounting and a minor in Marketing.

Cristian aims for a career in finance or analytics. He likes solving complex problems that require attention to details. He also has an interest in helping others and believes it's important to positively contribute to society. In his free time, Cristian enjoys cycling, having fun with friends, and playing strategy games. 

Cristian Chavez joins the PdNCF for the summer through the PdNCF partnership with Texas Mutual, Workforce Solutions Borderplex, and Microsoft. The new internship matching program aims to empower nonprofits in workforce development. The program will accomplish the following goals:

1. Enhance interns' skills through hands-on experience within nonprofit organizations.
2. Help nonprofits integrate digital tools to improve services or operations.
3. Increase awareness of nonprofit impact and foster new partnerships.

This program will empower students through skills-building and support nonprofits in workforce development.
