The 6th Annual Nonprofit Conference: Reimagine! brought together a vibrant community of nonprofit professionals, leaders, and changemakers on April 22 at the Chito Samaniego Event Center for a day that was as energizing as it was inspiring.

From the start, the tone was set by keynote speaker Adam “Smiley” Poswolsky, whose message on belonging, connection, and workplace culture resonated deeply, reminding us that strong missions are powered by strong people. That sense of purpose carried throughout the day as Dr. Marguerite (Margo) McClinton Stoglin shared fresh insights on the evolving landscape of philanthropy, offering a data-driven look at how organizations can better connect with and inspire today’s donors.

The experience continued to build with Elsa Borrego’s dynamic and interactive session on team culture, which brought energy into the room and reinforced the importance of people-centered leadership. Later, Rosemary Marin grounded the conversation with practical guidance on governance and legal considerations, while Chip Fulghum closed the day with a powerful reflection on leadership, collaboration, and the collective impact we can achieve when we work together.

More than anything, this year’s conference was defined by its momentum, the exchange of ideas, strengthened connections, and a shared commitment to moving our sector forward.
