Thank you to our generous community
The Paso del Norte Community Foundation is deeply touched by the outpouring of love and generosity shown by our community to support the communities of Southern New Mexico that have been impacted by the recent devastating wildfires and floods.
The Wildfire Relief Fund in the Paso del Norte Community Foundation has received more than $95,000 in donations of all sizes from hundreds of individuals, families, corporations, and foundations. 100% of funds received to date have been contributed to partner organizations working on the frontlines to provide critical support to residents and responders in need in the greater Ruidoso area.
“We are so appreciative of the donations that have been made to support our community and those that have been affected by the South Fork Fire and the subsequent flooding. We feel a special affinity for El Paso as you are our largest market for tourism as well as being excellent neighbors. Thank you, Paso del Norte Community Foundation, for your kindness and generosity,” said Mayor Lynn Crawford of Ruidoso.
Mayor Crawford asks that our community continue to support Ruidoso’s journey to recovery by visiting and supporting their small and local businesses and continuing to make donations to support those directly affected by the fires and floods.
Individuals interested in donating can make their gifts to the following funds:
- Paso del Norte Community Foundation’s Wildfire Relief Fund
- Community Foundation of Lincoln County’s Shelter Fund
- Community Foundation of Southern New Mexico’s Greatest Needs Impact Fund
