Claudio joins the Paso del Norte Community Foundation team as Development Manager. In this role, he supports PdNCF’s more than 100 Designated Funds with administrative oversight and fundraising strategy, he manages PdNCF’s portfolio of over 50 scholarship funds, and he leads the development and execution of PdNCF’s communications approach to build and steward relationships with current and prospective donors. 

Born in El Paso, Texas, and raised in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, Claudio earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing and International Business from The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). He later obtained a Master of Science in Business and Development Studies from Copenhagen Business School.

Before joining PdNCF, Claudio worked as a Development Associate at VillageReach, a Seattle-based international nonprofit focused on expanding healthcare access across sub-Saharan Africa. He also served in the Peace Corps Response Program in Peru, where he supported rural tourism development initiatives. His local nonprofit experience includes having worked as Development Coordinator for Aliviane, Inc. 

Outside of work, Claudio is passionate about traveling, film, and making music.
