Ann Putnam Yerby Memorial Scholarship Fund

This fund was established by an anonymous donor in honor and memory of Mrs. Ann Putnam Yerby.  Mrs. Yerby was a Reading and Math Teacher at Beall Elementary School and Hughes Elementary School from 1940-1970.   She taught core academic fundamentals such as responsibility, leadership and belief in one's self and awakened curious young minds by providing a foundation of learning that would serve them for a lifetime.
