The Paso del Norte Trail is a community-driven, collaborative effort to develop and implement a plan for a 68-mile county-wide trail in El Paso County. The primary goal is to construct a trail that will become a regional attraction and connect communities. The proposed trail will promote physical activity, highlight the Rio Grande and other historical sites and connect communities and other amenities such as schools, parks, transportation and employment.

This collaborative project has already received support from the Paso del Norte Health Foundation, City of El Paso, County of El Paso, Andeavor Foundation, El Paso Water, El Paso County Water Improvement District No.1, Texas Department of Transportation and El Paso Metropolitan Planning Organization.
