While public programs cover some needs, far too many essentials fall through the cracks, like hearing aids, grab bars, dentures, or adult incontinence supplies. These aren’t luxuries. That’s where the Senior Fund steps in. For nearly 30 years, the Senior Fund has helped older adults aged 60+ access critical items that no other program covers, and the Paso del Norte Community Foundation is honored that the Senior Fund is now a designated fund under its umbrella. Whether it's a ramp for a veteran who can no longer navigate stairs, a set of dentures for a grandmother who wants to smile again, or a hearing aid so a loved one can hear their grandchildren’s laughter, each gift is life-changing.
