City of El Paso Names Museum Terrace in Honor of Judy Robison

This May, El Paso Mayor Renard U. Johnson joined leaders from the City of El Paso and El Paso Museum of Art Foundation Board of Directors to name the Plein Air Terrace outside the El Paso Museum of Art in honor of local philanthropist and long-time El Paso Museum of Art Foundation board member and volunteer Judy Robison. Ms. Robison recently led the campaign to develop and install Star Ceiling (El Paso), a site-specific work by world-renowned artist Leo Villareal. Ms. Robison is a past chair and current board member of the Paso del Norte Community Foundation.
“Our Downtown Arts District shines brighter with the recent gift of Star Ceiling (El Paso) to the Museum thanks to the recent campaign led by Judy Robison and the El Paso Museum of Art Foundation Board,” said Edward Hayes, Director of the El Paso Museum of Art.
The Paso del Norte Community Foundation has been honored to partner with Ms. Robison and the El Paso Museum of Art Foundation Board on the Star Ceiling project. Her leadership and generosity has contributed significantly to the arts, education and quality of life in our region.
