PdNCF Spotlight: Casie Pedregon, Development Coordinator
This month, the Paso del Norte Community Foundation’s Spotlight is shining bright on Casie Pedregon, Development Coordinator.
Casie joined the PdNCF team in 2019 and is responsible for growing the assets of the PdN Community Foundation by cultivating partnerships with nonprofit organizations, and with current and future donors. Casie provides agency funds with strategic planning and fundraising support to enhance their development goals. Additionally, she spearheads El Paso Giving Day and the annual Nonprofit Conference on behalf of the Foundation.
“I love working for an organization that has such a passion for enhancing our Paso del Norte region, especially the nonprofit organizations that provide much needed support to our most vulnerable populations.”
These past few months, Casie has been busy planning PdNCF’s 2021 El Paso Giving Day taking place October 21st. El Paso Giving Day promotes a day of giving to support the heart of our community…our local nonprofits and the residents they serve.
“Just thinking about El Paso Giving Day gives me goosebumps! I love this community-wide day of giving for a multitude of reasons. For one, I love helping the registered nonprofit organizations strategize their fundraising and social media outreach plans. Everyone has such different, yet extremely important, missions and programming. Learning about every organization’s goals, diverse situations, and passions is truly inspiring. Not only do I love working with local organizations, I also enjoy working with the countless donors who support these nonprofits. I love learning about the donor stories behind their support and how they were impacted by their favorite organization’s mission. El Paso Giving Day is a day filled with excitement, hope, and kindness around our Paso del Norte region.”
When Casie isn’t busy planning one of our community’s largest nonprofit events, she is working with over 100 of PdNCF’s agency funds ensuring they have the support needed to be successful and feel empowered to continue their philanthropic goals and passions.
“Have you seen the range of agency funds PdNCF has under its umbrella? These funds range from film funds, to education, youth, and entrepreneurship, to name a few. Each fund has different goals and aspirations. My favorite part of my daily interactions with our agency funds is the passion and creativity I see in each employee, committee, board member, and volunteer. These people are working extra hard to make our community a great place to work, live and play by supporting all causes and populations. It is an honor to work with such amazing El Paso advocates and visionaries.”
A native El Pasoan, Casie is a proud UTEP Miner with a Bachelor of the Arts in Psychology and a minor in Statistics. She recently earned her Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Management. When she is not helping grow our community of philanthropy, Casie is volunteering, spending time with her family and friends, or taking her dog, Maya, out for walks and car rides.
