The Paso del Norte Community Foundation is proud to recognize Texas Workforce Solutions Borderplex as one of this year’s gold level Partners in Philanthropy.

At the Foundation, one of our core focus areas is Nonprofit Investment. We support local nonprofits as they grow stronger through training and capacity building. While these resources are essential to long-term sustainability, many organizations don’t have the funding needed for professional development opportunities or paid internships. That’s where partners like Texas Workforce Solutions Borderplex make a meaningful difference.

We are especially proud to collaborate with Texas Workforce Solutions Borderplex to bring interns and nonprofits together through our Summer Internship Program, an initiative that was recognized as an Employer of Excellence last year at their statewide board meeting. Through this collaboration, we work hand in hand to bridge critical gaps by investing in paid internship opportunities that strengthen nonprofit organizations while preparing the next generation of talent. Their support helps nonprofits thrive as true economic drivers in our region while providing individuals with hands-on experience, mentorship, and pathways to long-term employment.

Thanks to their investment in our mission, we are also able to continue growing our Nonprofit Investment programs, including the Annual Nonprofit Conference, El Paso Giving Day, and the Power Purpose Plan Fund Development Learning Series. These programs help ensure more organizations have access to the tools, training, and visibility they need to thrive.

Through every initiative, Texas Workforce Solutions Borderplex demonstrates that workforce wellness and community wellbeing go hand in hand. Their partnership with PdNCF is helping shape a stronger, more resilient future for our region.
