Presented by Bank of America and Union Pacific in collaboration with Texas Workforce Solutions, this dynamic program is opening doors for 15 outstanding students to gain hands-on experience with 15 local nonprofit and community organizations. Over the course of the summer, each intern will contribute 280 paid hours of meaningful work, earning $15/hour, while building the skills, confidence, and connections needed to become future leaders.

Last week, students and host sites came together for a vibrant “speed dating” job fair, where they explored shared passions and identified the best pairings for a summer of impact. Final placements will be announced soon. In the meantime, follow along as we spotlight the stories of these rising changemakers and the organizations guiding them on their journey. This summer promises to be one of growth, purpose, and community-powered transformation.

Participating organizations include: Big Brothers Big Sisters, Heart Gallery, Borderland Rainbow Center, Boys and Girls Club, Insights El Paso, Community en Acción, We Hike Adventure, Compadres Therapy, El Paso Leadership Network, Loretto Academy, Tech Frontier, Humane Society of El Paso, Project BRAVO and Villa Maria.
