Andrea works alongside the Paso del Norte Community Foundation (PdNCF) development team. She is responsible for a range of development activities including growing the assets of the Foundation, by cultivating partnerships with nonprofit organizations, corporate partners, and future donors. She supports designated funds with reaching their philanthropic and development goals, and manages the Foundation's diverse scholarships portfolio. Moreover, Andrea spearheads the PdNCF's nonprofit investment projects including an intern matching program, the annual Nonprofit Conference, El Paso Giving Day, and the Power, Purpose, Plan: Fund Development training. 

Born and raised in El Paso, Andrea attended The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) earning a Masters in Public Administration with a concentration in Public Policy & Management as well as a Certificate in Nonprofit Administration and Governance. She is a member of Pi Alpha Alpha, the Global Honor Society for Public Affairs & Administration, and was awarded the Outstanding Public Service Award in 2023. Additionally, Andrea serves on the Master of Public Administration of UTEP Advisory Board and is participating in Leadership El Paso - Class 45. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Multimedia Journalism with a minor in Sociology.

When she is not working, Andrea is often found spending time with family and friends.
